Runbo Terms of Use

Welcome to Runbo. By installing or using the Runbo iOS app, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Operator and Agreement

Runbo is operated by an individual developer in the United States under the Runbo and Pervychine Mobile names. References to Runbo, we, us, or our mean that operator.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Runbo. If you use Runbo for another person, you confirm that you have permission to do so.

Runbo provides training guidance derived from HealthKit data, workout history, and preferences. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
Consult a qualified health professional before starting or changing an exercise program, especially if you have health conditions, injuries, symptoms, or concerns.
You are responsible for assessing your fitness, training load, environment, and physical condition. Stop exercising and seek help if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, or other concerning symptoms.

Runbo relies on Apple HealthKit and the permissions you grant. You control which Health data types Runbo can access.
A compatible iPhone with iOS 17 or later is required. Some features, including structured workout export, require a paired Apple Watch running watchOS 10 or later.
Some features may be unavailable or limited if permissions, HealthKit data, network access for support, or compatible devices are not available.

Do not interact with Runbo while running, cycling, driving, crossing streets, or doing any activity that requires attention. Review and configure workouts before you begin.
Follow local laws and safety rules, including rules about traffic, headphones, trails, weather, and public spaces.

Runbo’s load analysis and workout suggestions are algorithmic estimates. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unsuitable for your situation.
Listen to your body and adjust, skip, or stop workouts when appropriate. Overtraining can cause injury.

Runbo processes HealthKit data locally on your device and does not use a Runbo account or cloud sync for your training data.
If you contact support through runbo.app, your name, email address, and message are sent to the operator by email so we can respond.
Health data comes from HealthKit and is also subject to Apple’s terms. See the Runbo Privacy Policy for more detail.

When you send a support request, you agree that we may use the contact information you provide to respond to that request and follow up about the issue.

Runbo, including its user interface, graphics, code, branding, and content, is owned by the Runbo operator or licensed to the operator.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from Runbo except where allowed by applicable law.

We may update Runbo, change features, suspend features, or discontinue the app. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice.
We may update these Terms. Continued use after the effective date of updated Terms means you accept the updated Terms.

Runbo is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
We do not guarantee the accuracy of training load estimates, workout suggestions, vitals summaries, race predictions, or achievement of any training goal.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable law prohibits limitation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Runbo and its contributors are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Your remedy for dissatisfaction with Runbo is to stop using the app.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Runbo and its contributors from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the app or violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Runbo if we believe you violated these Terms or used the app in a way that creates risk. After termination, your right to use the app ends.

These Terms are governed by applicable United States federal law and the law of the U.S. state where the Runbo operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
If you live outside the United States, mandatory consumer protections and privacy rights in your country or region still apply to the extent they cannot be waived.
Disputes may be brought in any court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from using mandatory dispute forums available where you live.
